ABCW's coat of arms
designed with much imagination, manages to rise the Brazilian panther - the noblest
of our felines - to a heraldic position beside the red lion of thr United Kingdom
of Great Britain. The lion and the Brazilian panther are the guardians of the
Brazilian Association of Whisky Collectors spirit. The coat of arms is represented
by a central shield having in its two upper halves, to the left, the representation
of barley foliage, and to the right, a pot still. In the lower halves, to the
left, a green square with a yellow diamond format and to the right the blue circle.
It is a separation of the Brazilian flag. The shield is sustained, on the left
by a red lion, as per the United Kingdom royalty coat of arms, and, to the right
by a Brazilian panther, representing the corresponding Brazilian animal. The two
animals are standing on the compartment involved by the "motto" UISGE
BEATHA ABCW. Finally, topped by the "elm", the coat of arms has in the
upper part of the fixed spears, to the left, Scotland's blue flag with St. Andrews
cross, and, to the right, the Brazilian flag.
